Connecticut MD, Dr. Gail Weingast

Working today at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut, Dr. Gail Weingast has been in the medical field for several decades, amassing significant experience and education on her MD journey. Working in Norwich as a radiologist, Chief of Ultrasound and Chief of Breast Imaging, she acquired this knowledge through numerous residencies and fellowships that followed her graduation from Boston University’s School of Medicine in 1976, where she earned her Degree in Medicine. In the years that followed, Weingast studied in pediatrics as well as radiology and ultrasound, finding her niche within those specialities, which she continued in her career through today -- including doctoral work in New York and Colorado.
